When choosing toys for your Quaker Parrot variety is key. You will want to choose several bird toys made of natural materials such as pine wood, palm leaves, loofah, balsa, coconut, paper and anything else that is easy and fun to shred and destroy. Quaker parakeets also love to climb, so larger bird toys that hang are also a great choice. Be sure and pick up some foot toys or loose toys that they can carry around since this provides an activity to satisfy their hoarding instincts.
