We are excited to present to you the all natural, Bare Naked version of our popular Happy Balsa bird toy. It's tailor-made for parrots like caiques, pionus, Quakers, Timneh African Greys and other small to medium sized parrots who enjoy softer, thinner, easier to chew wood.
With thin pine chippers and lots of balsa wood, this toy will keep smaller birds entertained for a long time. The thin pine chippers provide your parrot with the perfect amount of crunch and texture, while the balsa wood is softer and easy for parrots to chew on.
We took great care in designing this toy for maximum fun. Starting with a solid base of balsa wood we drilled a hole down the center so that the full toy could be supported by a sturdy nickel-plated chain that allows your bird to chew away without dropping the toy to the cage floor. Next we drilled and stuffed the balsa with small hardwood beads for your parrot to dig out with its beak. Knotted rope secures all the remaining balsa and pine so it can be enjoyed fully.
